Business Ethics Assignment CFNC AND MY CHOSEN CAREER The CFNC Interest Profiler defined me as a â€Å"helper† and as a â€Å"thinker,† which coincides perfectly with my chosen career as a secondary school English teacher. Teachers need a substantial amount of critical thinking skills and interpersonal skills; an excellent teacher comprehends material well, is capable of analysis, is articulate, is compassionate, listens effectively and has an innate goal to assist anyone they have the means to. CFNC also emphasizes the importance of a teacher knowing learning strategies, having good judgment, utilizing strong time-management skills and being sufficiently prepared (â€Å"CFNC†). My strive to help and my love for learning has provided me with fuel to obtain my college degree, furthering me along the pathway towards teaching English, particularly literature, to high school students. According to the College Foundation of North Carolina, North Carolina teachers have an average income of $43,510 and are required to have at least a bachelor’s degree in the material they plan to teach in addition to individual state licensure (â€Å"CFNC†). Having previously and adequately researched the teaching profession, I was already well-aware of the humble pay and the educational requirements. However, it was my knowledge of the personal benefits that English teaching provides that have led me to pursue it as a career, with the goal of initially earning a Bachelor of Science in English, Secondary Education
